We live our charism – ‘loving action in favour of the poor’ by accomplishing our mission through Evangelization, Parish ministry, family apostolate, social services, education, care of the sick, the orphans and the old.

             We work among the socially and economically backward people of the Latin catholic dioceses of Quilon, Punalur, Trivandrum, Neyyattinkara, Vijayapuram and Kochi.  Apart from that our sisters work in the different social institutions of the above dioceses; we have 23 apostolic centers in different parts of Kerala.  We fulfill major part of our social commitment through  schools, career guidance centers and  hospitals established by us in the rural areas of the above dioceses.  Major thrust of our social development work is in the fields of health care and education.  The different developmental activities being carried out by our members are:

-  Literacy programmes for adults

-  Education of school going children

-  Women’s organizations through self help groups

-  Career training programmes for young girls

-  Community health programmes

-  Health care through hospitals

-  Care of the aged/orphans

-  Rehabilitation of the disabled.

-  Catechetics and  pastoral services in the parishes
